The A-Team is an American action-adventure TV series that aired on NBC from January 1983 to March 1987. It revolves around ex-members of a made-up United States Army Special Forces group. The four team members were subjected to a court martial for a crime they were innocent of. Following their conviction and sentence in a military prison, they fled to Los Angeles and began working as mercenaries in an effort to clear their names and avoid capture by law enforcement and military personnel. Stephen J. Cannell and Frank Lupo conceived the series. In 2010, 20th Century Fox produced a feature film that took inspiration from the series.
